Whenever I play a game that I like, I try to take a screenshot or two to throw into my PC wallpaper rotation to remember my time with it. Its minimalistic low-polygon visual design is crisp, smooth, and bursting with colors that match its relaxing, laid back tone. Beyond its gameplay, Poly Bridge is a stunningly beautiful game. New doors will open up as you understand how they can interact and work together, whether they were designed to do so or not. After you’ve mastered the basic mechanics of the different materials and tools. There’s a certain beauty in bringing to fruition ideas that pop into your head walking around town or lying in bed, Poly Bridge does a great job of granting you the flexibility to do so. Its for this reason that Poly Bridge has really stuck in my head the past week or so. As is the case with other building games such as Besiege or Kerbal Space Program, sometimes the most fun to be had comes from designing the biggest, nastiest, most ridiculous answer to the problem at hand that you can come up with, which is exactly what you will want to head into sandbox mode for. Of course, sometimes you dont want to have to worry about being cost-efficient, using less material, or minimizing stress on your structure. The game includes a GIF generator, allowing players to capture certain moments while playing and share them onlineUnleash your true engineer using the advanced building and level designing tools in-game, such as: Advanced Hydraulics, Multi-phase Hydraulics Controller (control which hydraulic piston activates when) Node-base event system Multiple types of checkpoints. A badly built bridge will collapse under the weight of a crossing vehicle. The game also features obstacles such as jumps and boats, forcing the player to design their bridge creatively. Since every vehicle has a different body and weight, that means longer cars may not be able to drive up steep slopes and the structure might need to adapt to the situation. There is a variety of vehicles, ranging from motorcycles (fast and light) to dump trucks and cranes (slow and heavy). There is also a sandbox mode that allows free building without restrictions, where the parameters can be set for creation. In each level (more than 100 overall), there are two requirements: the building cost must come in under budget and the bridge has to be strong enough for a specific number of cars. Poly Bridge has a campaign mode with a series of scenarios that require different things to accomplish and introduce certain geographic features. That is done via 2D bridge model by creating a blueprint, and working with the materials which are given at use. The objective of the game is for vehicles to traverse over a series of rivers by building bridges. One of our favorite features of the game! Save a super cool looking animated GIF of your bridge in all its glory (or failure!) and save it locally. What would an awesome bridge-builder game be without an equally awesome Sandbox? Go wild and create the most complex bridge the world has ever seen, or just an absurd creation that pushes the mechanics of the game in a new direction, and if you’re feeling like it publish your design online as a puzzle level on the Workshop for everyone to try and solve! Download hundreds of extra levels from the Workshop! We’ll also be featuring the most original and fun bridge designs that are submitted, making it easier for you to find the ones that are worth the challenge.
